Webinar Invitation
Thursday 7 November: 12-1pm
The International Green Skills and Green Jobs Youth Consultation Report
A presentation followed by Q+A led by one of its key authors, Quinn Runkle of SOS-UK,
for PRME UK and Ireland members and supporters.
This consultation with young people globally was conducted between April - June 2024 by SOS-International and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as part of the Green Jobs for Youth Pact (GYJP). The GJYP is a collaborative initiative by the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), working with young people, governments and other partners to create meaningful learning and employment opportunities by 2030.
Launched on 17 July 2024 at an official side event of the 2024 United Nations High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, this is the first opportunity to discuss the implications of the report for the work of the PRME UKI Chapter Interest Group on Sustainability, Employability and Jobs of the Future.
Register here and we'll send you a reminder on the day.
